Marché alimentaire bio solidaire
The solidarity food market is held every first Friday of the month in the market hall in the village of Bretoncelles.
This solidarity market is an experiment inspired by the social food security project (https://securite-sociale-alimentation.org/). The idea is to make quality food accessible to all, without having to rely on food aid. The association calls on seven producers in the Bretoncelles area (bread, pasta, fruit, vegetables, preserves, cheese). Products are sold at this small market at "solidarity prices", i.e. with a 40% discount. The association guarantees suppliers the "producer price", thanks to a solidarity contribution fund, a donation box present at the market in which everyone can freely contribute to solidarity to the extent of their means.
This solidarity market is run by volunteers from the Pousses solidaires - Bretoncelles en Transition association.
